Security Supervisor

· Ability to guide, support, and train external security officers on hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and authoritative presence on property. · Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confer with management, interview guests and employees and interrogates persons to detect infringements, investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc. · Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment. · Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless people. · Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports. · Notify staff of presence of people with questionable reputations. · Handle disturbances, guest complaints, and security incidents with professionalism and discretion. · Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations. · May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property. · Monitor CCTVs daily and prepare reports on any incidents, investigations, or related. · Coordinate fire safety, CPR/First Aid or related training for hotel staff and ensure all certifications are renewed when required. This includes conducting drills monthly. · Conduct inventory checks and ensure maintenance of security equipment such as two-way radios, PPEs, emergency kits, etc. · Manage procedures for lost/found, keys, visitor logs, access logs, and staff checks. · Always practice safe work habits to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. · Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines for completing the job safely. · Aid other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel and communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. · Always maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
