Conduct regular patrols of the office compound during the day to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity. Serve as night watch on the dredge, ensuring continuous surveillance, monitoring of lights, mooring lines, and security of onboard equipment and personnel. Control entry and exit of visitors, staff, and vehicles at both the office and dredge as per company access protocols. Conduct alcohol testing, incident investigations, bag checks, metal detector screening, and monitor PPE compliance.

Liaise with the HSE department, enforce safety protocols, perform housekeeping checks, and ensure site security by detecting illegal items. Work rotating shifts and be available to move between locations as needed to support operations and maintain consistent safety and compliance standards. Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and occurrences in the security logbook. Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious situations. Conduct security inspections of doors, windows, locks, and perimeters at the start and end of each shift. Monitor CCTV systems (if applicable), radios, and alarms to detect and report any anomalies. Ensure that fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and safety equipment are functional. File incident reports and communicate critical updates to the Security Supervisor and Operations team. Assist in implementing and enforcing safety protocols for dredge operations after hours. Perform any other duties assigned related to site safety and security.
