Reports To Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) Background The Offshore Boots-on-Deck Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of offshore operations with a focus on Front-Line (job site) activities. The function is responsible for monitoring HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in the day-to-day HSE activities on offshore facilities. As an Offshore Boots-on-Deck Supervisor, the incumbent will look to raising standard of worksite implementation of HSE practices and eliminate undesired events. Authority The Offshore Boots on Deck Supervisor has the authority to monitor, implement and regulate safe work practices onboard. The position is NOT expected to fulfil Safety Officer responsibilities, as this will dilute the expected focus at the front-line.
