Receptionist

MSC Mediterranean Shipping (Guyana) Inc. is seeking a professional, customer-focused, and organized individual to provide receptionist services at our Georgetown office. Important: This engagement is offered on an independent contractor/service provider basis and does not constitute employment with MSC Mediterranean Shipping (Guyana) Inc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and customers. · Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls. · Receive and distribute mail, courier packages, and deliveries. · Maintain visitor logs and ensure visitors comply with office procedures. · Schedule and coordinate meeting room bookings. · Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE · Minimum of five (5) CXC subjects, including English. · Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role would be an asset. · Strong verbal communication skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. · Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. · Professional appearance and demeanor. · Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently. SERVICE ARRANGEMENT Location: Georgetown, Guyana Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contract Type: Independent Service Provider Agreement Independent Service Provider Notice Please note that this position is not an employment relationship.
